| Gilbert Real Estate Stats Updated July '10 The Gilbert Arizona real estate market has taken a hit. But it is not all doom and gloom out there. Gilbert is certainly an interesting market as it grew faster than any other city in the US a few years back.
Another important factor in looking at Gilbert real estate market trends is how long it is taking homes to sell. DOM refers to days on market. For sellers, a low DOM is a good thing!
The final way I like to evaluate what is happening in the Gilbert Arizona real estate market is by showing how many homes have sold versus how many are currently listed at any given time. With prices leveling off and DOM and sales numbers holding steady I think that we have hit the bottom, or at least are bouncing off of it. Plus if you look just beyond the Gilbert real estate stats you'll see that the outlying areas like Queen Creek and Maricopa have seen the tide changing for a while now. Heck, look what is happening right next door in Chandler and Mesa! If you are sitting on the fence about buying a chunk of Gilbert Arizona real estate, you might want to think about getting off of that fence as soon as possible.
